Pan Am's Helvetica Dreamline

This was a whole campaign that PanAm did in the 60’s, and it’s one of the most perfect efforts in modern advertising. So simple, it’s all you need to convey as an airline: the destination, and the aspiration of getting there. There’s a whole series showcased in the blog post I found these in, and it is currently part of the “Here is Every. Four Decades of Contemporary Art” Exhibit at the MoMA here in NYC. I haven’t been to that museum in ages, and this image above just might get me there in the next few weeks. Just…awesome.
